Mary and Hugh have built a strong reputation for both good accommodation and excellent food. In 2009, it received a Gold Award from Visit Britain for high levels of service. Probably, the best accommodation in Winchelsea. Located at the foot of Strand Hill, almost opposite the Bridge Inn. There is footpath into the citadel.

28 modern en-suite bedrooms. Situated at the bottom of the hill as one approaches Winchelsea along the A259 from the direction of Icklesham and Hastings. Much used by residents to house large parties of visitors turning up for weddings and the like. All reports have been very good. Free WiFi. Ample parking.
