Grade II* (listed 3 August 1961: amended 13 May 1987)
This range of houses is built on a series of high vaulted cellars partly above ground which date from about 1300. The houses above appear 18TH CENTURY, except No 8 which is timber-framed refaced and Nos 1 and 2 which have older bricks at the back and are probably timber-framed refronted in the 18TH CENTURY. So the remaining houses may be so also. 2 storeys, Nos 2 and 8 with an attic storey. lO windows. Tile hung on a red brick base. tiled roofs. The 2 window bays at each end project slightly. Casement windows. Doorways up 5 steps. No 2 has 1 dormer window, No 8 a half-hipped gable with an attic window in it.

One building. 17TH CENTURY or earlier building, restored. Two storeys. Six windows. Ground floor red brick, above tile-hung. Tiled roof. Casement windows. Passage through ground floor at north end with wrought iron gate with overthrow.

Richmond House

Probably 17th century house, refaced in 18th century and since. Two storeys. Four windows. Faced with rough-cast. Two gables, the north one containing an attic window. Tiled roof. Sash windows with glazing bars intact. 19th century gabled porch.

18th century stone wall with stepped red brick coping. Cellar of 1300 on the west-side of the centre.
