Refuse collection in Winchelsea is currently on Friday (except for the week after a Bank Holiday, when it switches to Saturday) and is still weekly. Wheelie bins and recycling boxes are not yet in use. In the May, the collection date will move in the weeks after the May Day and Whitsun Bank Holidays to Saturday 10 May and 31 May. In the intervening weeks and after May, they will return to Friday from 6 June.

The next quiz night at the New Inn is on Tuesday, 29th April, at 8:00pm.
